Ax, you're a "car wreck" of your own making. And you posted your "car wreck" here presumably in the hopes that people would slow down to take a peek. I guess you just want people to quietly gawk, perhaps titter amongst themselves.
The thing about a forum like this is we can say what we damned well please and in the manner we damned well please...that goes for my snide assholeish remarks and your misspelled creative writing. You don't like it? Well welcome to life.
Post your shit...fine and dandy...but I will not allow you to orchestrate my remarks. I'm not here to kiss your ass and I sure as hell don't want you kissing mine.
Diversity. The name of the game. Write what you want how you want; but just remember, everyone has that same right and I for one am not going to slink off just because your sensitivity has been ruffled. Suck it up princess!
Do you post your work here to get a mental blow job or do you post to get some honest feedback on your writing? Just what the hell is it you want? Clearly your clammoring for people to read you, to eat up your words, wipe their chins and greedily look around for more. Well, maybe that could happen one day if you showed your reader one iota of respect by simply demonstrating that you actually care about your writing...because if it looks like you don't care why the hell should anyone else?
If you're so sensitive about your misspelling then fix it, if you can't be bothered to fix it then don't bitch and moan when some asshole like me remarks upon it in their own indubitable fashion...dork!

My friend, try looking more than .0001 milimeter deep into people. Then write what you see. There is more than the "privit" area to women, as

I do not think women are stupid, they are probally a little smarter than men. but whocares--Itreat guys I write about the same way--I am not a DEEP person I guess--but the world is not deep now is it? and Mousey--why do you care soooo much buddy--I have the wit of a child! fine... you have the most wit of anyone on here like your poem on your board and the disecting of langish and shit--amazing-- let's leave it at that--

lets chill all.
mousey, basically, this is ax's thread. he may not have responded the way you liked, but then again you took his story and attacked it on a personal level, not simply pointing out spelling etc.
a first person narrator should be treated as a character in the story. i think you're being antagonistic, mousey. you say you've seen ax's "temper," why dont you take that into consideration next time you choose to respond to one of his posts instead of baiting him?
thx.

firsty, did you read anything I wrote? Baiting? Right. It's all a matter of opinion.
Freedom of expression...Ax's, mine, your's, everyone's. I'm not trying to muzzle anyone. I'm not trying to change anyone. I'm just expressing my opinions, thoughts, feelings, in my own way, same as Ax. Sometimes it gets hot...so?
Chilling out is not the point. Learning something is. Back and forth discourse, it's not always pretty.
I like to get along too, firsty; but does that mean I have to clam up? I felt like saying something. I did. I'm human. What is the problem in that?
Yes, I see he has a temper, does that mean I have to coddle it? I wasn't baiting, I was being me, I'm a bit of a goofball. I asked him some questions, he chose not to answer, I left to eat cheese...end of story.
If everyone stayed out of everyone's threads and only said what the thread starter wanted to hear that would be a pretty ridiculous state of affairs...wouldn't it? What are you advocating here?
Being a good writer and misspelling do not and should not go hand in hand in my opinion. If he's doing it on purpose he should perhaps let the readers know so that they are not distracted by it and lose the real meat of the story, that's my point. Ax got all feisty and up in arms about it, that's okay, maybe it made him think, maybe it didn't. He chose to turn it into a criticism of me, I can take it, the thing is, I'm also allowed to retort in kind.
I really don't understand why everyone gets into such a tizzy when there are disagreements on here, when words fly back and forth. Talking (or in this case typing) things off our chests is a good thing, no harm done.
I'm surprised at you firsty, very surprised. Words are all we have here and that you want to quiet them, or at least mine, takes me a little aback.
It's tit for tat and Ax is a big boy and can stand his own ground as well as can I. Neither one of us is squeaky clean in this discourse; but there's been no bloodletting so why all the fuss? As a matter of fact it appears to me that Ax is rather enjoying it. I'm certainly not angry.

Don't go Norman. Please. This is the way it is here sometimes.
Mousey has it ever occurred to you that Geoff knows exactly what he is doing? That unlike me he is very clear. And what he does is carefully crafted. Not just sloppy writing like mine? I think I should have put a semicolon in there someplace.
nice work Geoff.
It almost looks like spontaneous gibberish.
But I know better.

Are we arguing about Geoff's 'beach bitch' or are we arguing against arguing.
Geoff, it would be lovely to wake up and discover you were learning to enter another being's being in several dimensions. But meanwhile, you write about what you write about.
Mousey, you stated your opinion, you were just as streetspoken as Geoff, what's the problem? You're entitled to speak. Of course, you are!
Personal jibes get nowhere, but literary criticism is part of the deal here.
It's fairly clear that Geoff's spelling is not improving. Anything that's not spell-checked is like a rough copy. Geoff, if you don't want remarks about your spelling - put a permanent statement in your signature (or a preamble before you begin). Then, those who find misspellings distracting might just stay away from your work. Take it into consideration. Repeated typos make it hard to concentrate.
If you want to get your message across with a firm hand, take your work to the next level, and clean up the spellings. Or else, go voice. There's a program called Audacity that you can download for free. Recording your work could solve your problem. (or not. You'll be needing a website to use).
But geoff and mouse fights get us nowhere, fast.
Norman, so sorry to see that the level of interaction is dismaying to the extent that you're out of here.
That is a sad state of affairs. Maybe it's the time of year.

Z has stated it with some finality.
mousey, i do hope, it's outa this thread
still-t might be outa here for the night
i'm in
quiet, much more than usual, but then again, words seems to get people so upset that i've been busy listening - in real life's many quadrants and on the net, here and elsewhere.
done any good sand castles lately?
