the underlying build up of forms on the first one, "wisdom" is compelling
and it seems to me that you have obscured that poetic fire with the intrusive white amal·gam 2 : a mixture of different elements
a clashing of energies
discomfiting and can not sense the purpose
as the underlying layers are very wonderful and rich in both coloration and design, whilst the white is jagged and angry, lacks control and is almost like a negation of what was laid down before

and yet on the second one "balance'"you have done it well integrated and energetic
a very nice and beautiful energy really emanates it's radiant
that blue and white captures the north for me
and the earthy floor and rusty yellows and reds
the hearth of the ancestors
warmth and coolness a masterpiece

i'd like to see the first one sans cape eh?

love it! The full body feeling of colour. The wonderful symbols - familiar and so joyful to see them dance amidst this new sensation.
