between dark sleep and thick dream

[panta rhei]

in between one dark sleep
and a thicket black
with hidden dreams

a door opens
opens with shrieking hinges
opens up wide

and liquid tales
come flooding in
their fairies still dizzy
with slumber
tumbling through gold milk
unbottled
to smoothe thorns into kisses
and farewells
into hopes
