cultivating rash objectives

Post by ~K » December 2nd, 2006, 12:00 pm

I am not
beyond that point
of tinsel morning softly
shudders
in witches circles
you are a mark
on my forever darling

you are
draining
you are

you know you are
my only mistake
chanting yr name
for so long
after you
were gone

what was I thinking
what nightmare
governed these actions
that took you from me
when we were so close
to solving every problem
coming up & stick it
in the dirt the earth
for what its worth
these roses grow
so
slowly

personal poems
that no one can touch
have you felt this
they say
have you felt this pian
joy
are you gay (as in happy)
but it would of been better if I left that open
take what you like from it
that is what kurt cobain did with his lyrics
but I still can't tell what he's saying

got shot down the other day
asked the girl at work
if she would like to
"hang out"
she said
"no"
I put up my hoody and walked off
you know how that feels?
like I am free from wonder
like I did all I could do
at least I tried right?

so the feeling and thoughts
none
I give you the details
like a report on life
like you want to hear
like it has anything to do with what you wrote
but it is all conected some way
think about it
think about polotics
now think about your friends
what state or provence or country would you be?
I am thinking about strating to write for a magazine that writes lame articles like "if you were a country..."
and then goes in t the way relationships between friends is aligorical for world polotics...

thanks, I enjoyed the poem.

personally

I am not
in touch

with what
comes out

she is...

& thats enough

to make me
stretch

across the
universe

Who— who will love me? Damn my wretched fear,
pervasive and persistent; anymore
I wonder if I simply yearn for you
as representative of company
since, even if you love me not, I’m not
completely lost, abandoned, destitute
so long as I commit myself to you—
I love you fearful. Will you love me, who
will pledge eternity with resolute
devotion to a chance uncertain thought:
love you might return and might accompany
and might delight yourself within? Will you?
When I have answered who will love you more
than you have asked, will you my question hear?

throw the petals on the wind

and when morning rises

i'll pluck them from the sky,

and hide them in teacups

where wish and whimsy grow

the loveliest secret gardens
