War is Good

Post by e_dog » February 24th, 2007, 11:44 pm

for Iraq

What's so bad about War?

So, some people die. But we are all going to die anyway. As Mel Gibson, says in Braveheart, everyman dies but not every man lives.

What wrong with wanting to spread democracy in Iraq? Would you rather have Saddam in power? After all, Saddam is dead now. Would you rather have a dead man as dictator? That would be pretty scary, don't you think?

Some people say, "But now there's a civil war/sectarian violence in Iraq." But isn't it better for people to express their frustrations rather than keeping them all bottled up? Repression just leads to depression. Better for all to air their differences. Like, with car bombs.

Another criticism of the Iraq adventure is that companies like halliburton and Blackwater are profiting off it. The problem is ... what? That they are furthering capitalism. Isn't economic growth a good thing. The more Halliburton makes, the more we all benefit. As Lord Cheney said, they are a good company that he is proud to have worked with. Plus, the use of mercenary firms like Blackwater is excellent. Market solutions to problems are always preferable to big government. So, a few mercenaries get killed. They are getting paid more highly than the troops. What, would you rather the regular army soldiers take their place? Don't you support the troops?

In conclusion, if you like democracy, free enterprise, and the American Way of Life, you should praise George Bush for his excellently exciting war. Clinton was a sissie, with his sissified precision air strikes. Only Bush has the balls to put some soldiers on the ground, in harms' way, ready to sacrifice some life and limbs for the liberation of the Iraqi people. His bravery should be applauded. If you dopn't praise Bush, you are one of the terrorists. So all you Democrats and Al Queda lovers, stop attacking the troops with your non-binding resolutions and false promises. Accept the reality that war is here to stay and the economy is better that way. Peace is unprofitable and boring. War is where its at. If you don't think so, why don't you join the Peace Corps. (I'll tell you why? Because you are a coward.)
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

War is where it's at.

As long as where it's at is somewhere over there, and all I need to supply is loudmouthed punditry and fully erect righteous rhetoric.

I tried.
They didn't ask, but i told.
They offered to make an exception.
All night long.

But then I deficated during the physical on the examinnation table.
They said, then, this ones bound for "Special Forces."

I aced the entrance exam.
That was grounds for disqualification.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.
