prologue

Post by joel » April 10th, 2007, 11:44 pm

I want to be defiant. What’s the point
of such a want when I am impotent
to speak my truth? I want to full defy
the disembodied haunts of foolishness
that muddle up the cosmos. Well, perchance
to want is more to lack than to desire—
but no, it isn’t well. It isn’t good
and, impotent though I may be now, would
all heavens seem as good, would I admire
all beauty more than just to raise a stance—
a fair prophetic word of truthfulness
erected like a monument to why
I am the way I am: all discontent
with lies and filth and death— but what’s the point?

Beats me
But it is still a good question

All I can thing of is that rock album about a pointy headed boy. by Harry Nilsson?

"even if their is no point, there is a point to that" mangled quote from geezer memory.
