post izzm blues

Post by mnaz » April 21st, 2007, 7:24 pm

roll ya, post izzm blues...
i drank god's AM radio in a driving rain.
some pour poor sole on the air;
acid rain without conversation,
holes eaten thru the band.

izzm skizzm nitch switch
to my brand of coffee while u sleep.
it's all coming out now, nary a peep.
took my izzm down at the gate.
name, rank, and serial murder.

strum yer guitar.
crank my distortion.
portions of missiles break dem up;
words too vague fer my position,
screamin' fer yer submission.

hum a drum barrel o' monkey hats,
in loud long lapel o' partisan said that,
shoot up infinite decades of M16 scatter,
on wreckage of another tired protest gong,
in a failed eight track of failed eight track songs.

a pinch of righty radio bleakness
yes, who knew that peter tosh would be a reactionary voice!

beware isms! communism, scarey!

just don't speak of the silent Capital-ism.

you speaka you speaka my languish

Men at work
singin in the 80's

I come from the land down under
but it ain't australia
it's lower
fiery
hotter than hell
it is the knowable fever
of a dinner bell
and nothing good to eat

hell of a poem mnaz
(good for what ails, ya.)

and the lyrics said:

Traveling in a fried-out combie
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said,

"Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."

some things are timeless...
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

This really is awesome writing...it has all the ring of the media's fair and balanced reporting, except none of it...which is a good thing, if regrettably (sp?) so. Sweet.
