I like this bit from that website.
Try this exercise for the next two weeks. Before you purchase something, think about how you will feel after you own it, and be honest about how much use you will really get out of it.

This probably does not relate but I thought you might be interested.

Once in a blue moon
I read somewhere that there will be a blue moon in may this year.
At least there will be one in the North American time zones if I understand this.

and I always want to howl at the moon
when I hear your voice.

Interesting, and a bit psychic that you gave me that quote because it's the very thing I do.
I purchase very little except for immediate wants. ( cigs, latte's, cool lighters, objet's du vintage, odd tarot decks, books, etc)
The rest I'm not so motivated about.
When I move into my own flat here soon, I have to get furniture because I gave all my furniture I had in Astoria away. I only kept a few little things.
Check this out:
So far, I"ve been offered, all for free, a really nice couch, (2 couches), a queen size bed, and a bunk bed, one of those with the double on bottom and twin on top, (perfect for Stella's room). Again, all for free, all nice stuff.
What does that tell you?
