Loosely defined..

Post by mnaz » June 2nd, 2007, 4:03 am

Everything is happening as it should;
hence a defining era of duck and cover,
and low fetor of clockworn lover.

Everything is a koan;
hence a long, long era of steel cone.
Everything is happening as it should;
hence the utter rape caught on tape,
loosely defined.

constellations in place
red dwarf star on the horizon

Yep
All happening just as it should
consumer confidence is high.

The invisible hand that guides
free market capitalism
is making a clapping sound
koan me

Everything is happening as it should,
including my protest of things happening as they shouldn't...

my favorite koan is the one about the strawberry
guy is on a cliff
there is a tiger about to attack him so he climbs over the cliff
he's climbing down and sees a lion at the bottom
lion at the bottom, tiger at the top
he looks over and sees a strawberry plant with one fruit
he picks it and puts it in his mouth
in the process looses his grip on the face of the cliff
as he falls, he says
"my, that was a good strawberry."

Zen is short
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

What is the sound of one hand clapping?
I imagine it sounds like one lip talking?

I will never be more than a Zen wannabe

Well, the image of Slim Pickens riding a nuclear missile frontal cone toward a false alarm deep inside Russia, circa 1964, comes to mind... metaphor tossed out carelessly (admittedly) about war in general, as is my generally careless neo subversive way, lately...
