Expect mind,
lab visitations
will follow,
hope
in meteoric
proportions,
is found under
the hiwire artist's
feat,
right there,
looming,
precariously
up above you,
cotton candy
feasts,
jammy fingers,
sideshows,
for dessert.

i thought you knew me
but whadda laugh
you sent me an e-mail joke
with smileys juggling a spittoon

man, don't call me framboise
and don't coochee coochee this chin
i'm off limits
past red shoes
gone gone

i thought i knew you
but nothin's changed
since you fell off the wagon

nothin's the same
but the sick sound of your sorry goodbye

you can see some notes pushed into the wall between the stones

last time i was there was back in 1980...but rumour has it that it's still there.

the diatonic scale
suitable to the western ear
has eight whole tones
the dynamic tension
is between the fourth and the fifth

the blue notes are the sixth and seventh
those are the wailing notes
resolving to the tonic
it may not be the perfect scale
but it's the one we are used to.

A Tribute to Some Historical Musical Scholars

On the other side of the wailing wall
is the other side,
where Arafat can not be buried.
Something's gotta give.
bring back the neanderthal flute.
bring back the stick and log.
bring back the family
musseholi and moishe and
ram dass
"moishe buddha" says
his father and
my iranian roommate
is still praying on his persian prayer mat
but he liked american
girls back in the day.
something's gotta give
beautiful peoples.
surrounded by jews at michigan
frosh year way back in '65
dated a j-girl from beaver falls
that's as far as i got.
i'd like to place some blue notes in the
wailing wall then
walk away and
visit the other side the
other side of the wailing wall,
not a cul de sac,
not a box canyon, but a pass
where we'll head 'em off,
round 'em up, an
make some music.,

Glyphin'
might be penciled in
today:
a paiute carved poems
in basalt cañons, now owned by
Total War Incorporated,
their drones drooping
to the land as if landing on their
wifes' fat ass; the atlatl
adjacent to
rams, whitetail, chuckawalla--
vulvic shields
solaric totems:
the chumash 100 miles away, the coleridges of
golden state indigenous
(altogether different and mellow compared to paiutes and shoshone, who called the "diggers" by the hicks {and Twain},
roamed from rockies to great basin to east side sierra)
idealist to shoshone
empiricist the other direction
did their graphs in pigments
and built a mean canoe
