A Canadian Artist and pioneer of his genre. He was also the author of Le Refus Global, a manifesto I have discussed here in the past when I posted a painting of Jean Paul Riopelle, one of Pauls' collaborators.

I like the textures and the inexpressive eyes in contrast with the expressive hand.

i admire your skils artguy. i was very impressed with your landscape painting as well.

i've started trying to paint myself. ha. if you look at my last new topic post here, you'll see that i mean that literally. it was fun. but i've also started to paint yes.

i'm finding it hard. i want to be energetic and confident with the paint but i'm afraid of the brushes, the thick paper (i'm using acrylics and thick acrylic paper) and the paints... it's intimidating.

but, without a hint of sarcasm or over confidence... if i can get over this "fear" of paint... I think I'll do a very good job with it.

right now though, it's allowing me to appreciate MORE people who can actually do it. this is a nice portrait, mister.

Haven't slept for 30 years....Painting itself I do very quickly...it's the conceptualizing of each project that takes months, and sometimes even years....
