Sorry I missed the bit about puking.

howdy, jimbo - me thinks you got hung up on hillary and my possible puke. is that the nurse in you?
i don't see my rant a direct trashing of hillary but a rant against this 2-party dynasty that has been going on for (quote) TWENTY-FUCKING-YEARS!! (end quote).
It's not healthy for this country or any country to have the same family(s) controlling the politic strings for so long. At least in the U.K. the queen is a figure-head, but between bush/clinton it's the real thing. If hillary is the next in line i sincerely believe that there will be no necessary changes that this country desperately needs despite the promises. The rage against her will be a continuum of that which we've been hearing out of the republicans regarding "Wm. Jefferson" (B.J.).... and the clinton's will respond with attacks against the bush/cheney regime.
if that's trashing, so be it...

I could care less about that Cecil, if Chelsea wants to run that is fine with me too.
What bothers me is that she went along with the war resolution. And she don't seem to have learned anything from it. YOu confess your sins jimbo fine. When will she have the balls to say I fucked up. I should have known better. Instead of:
No, no not my fault I was fooled by those big bad republicans.
How can I forgive her if she ain't sorry.
I could tell you one republican I could vote for Lincoln Chafee. The only republican to vote against that resolution. And he lost his re-election in 2006. The Chafee's have been a dynasty in Rhode Island polictics going back to the revolutionary war I think. Then there was the Adams father and son, and there are a slew of senators and congressman who inheirited their congressional seats.
What concerns me is merit. If that cracker head Byrd of WVA could see what was happening why could not Hillary? She is just so got dam shrewd. But I would vote for her because I am sure not going to vote for a republican.
Jimbo you have talked so much trash to me you are a fine one to talk about trash talk.
You all talk about patriotism, I am sick of it. I guess am a traitor too. It all sounds like Deutchland Uber Alles to me.
And yes I remember who gore's running mate was.
Have you ever read the Decline and Fall of Roman Empire?"
Interesting book. Very relevant to what we are going through as a decadent republic/empire.
What will you bid for the Empire?
One thing I like about Barak Obama is that he has over 250,000 donors.
Man I wish I was a buddhist instead of a heretic. I would love to be self righteous too.
We are so screwed. It will take twenty years to undo the damage.
If it can be undone.
Why wasn't Byrd out in the street?
I wish you would use an emoticon jim
You can't be serious.
You testing me again jimbo?
Jim if you give to charity I don't think you are supposed to brag about it.
You want to impress me give all your money to the homeless.
My insight
my ass
I am an idiot
Don't mind me I am a crazy old fool.
Cecil knows that.

truck: "I could care less about that Cecil, if Chelsea wants to run that is fine with me too."
while we're at it, let's get the bush twins to run against chelsea too. out of over 300 million americans, there can't be anyone else to run for president!?!?
truck: "...there was the Adams father and son, and there are a slew of senators and congressman who inheirited their congressional seats."
But never, my friend, in the 231 year history of this country have two families taken turns for twenty years and still want control as we have now.
I am not against a woman being president. i am against, not a two-party system, but two family system. Bush 41 traveled the globe with B.J. Clinton raising $$$ together as the best of friends raising beau coup dinero for this and that. then B.J. and Hillary trash Bush/Cheney... huh? Sounds like a game - "Hey, it's our turn next!"
It really is not necessary for America to put up with this. It really isn't.

Let me try this again.
It does not bother me Cecil.
It only matters to me how competent a presidential candidate is. Not what their last name is. So what do you think? Perhaps an amendment to the constitution that if your husband or father was president you can't run?
Don't mean nothing, just my opinion. Reminds me of Roosevelt and the XXII amendment.
I have seen so many editorials about the issue of the bush and clinton's possibly being in power for 28 years. It seems pretty lame to me. What matters to me is competence not blood lines. It seems like the least of our problems.
What about for the first time in 231 years a woman and a black man have a realistic chance to be elected president?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Jim if Hillary appologized it would be easier to forgive her.
But she says it was not her fault. She was fooled by those mean republicans.
Why was that cracker head from west virginia not fooled?
Why was Barbara Mikulski from Maryland not fooled?
Over twenty senators were not fooled
Do you think it might have been that they were not concerned about their presidential ambitions?
It seems strange to me that not one of those twenty two senators is a presidential candidate.
I am not sure I want to see her elected if she is that easily fooled.
Maybe is she had not been out on the street panhandling money she would have done better.
There is an interesting book called Primary Colors. It is thinly disguised fiction about the 1992 presidential primary race. It was writen by a Newsday reporter that covered the Clintons. He said Hillary slapped the hell out of Clinton,. Yep sweet little hillary.
Another interesting tid bit was about Kerry. The Clinton people said he sleep walked through the campaign. I think he sleep walked during 2004 also. He did not wake up until it was too late.
Hillary, Kerry they are better people than me jim, so are you. I would vote for Hillary if she gets it. If Obama gets it I fear for his safety. He was the first one to get secrete service protection. (hillary has it because of her husband) Funny how you don't hear much about right wing hate groups these days. I wonder what happened to those guys.
I used to wonder...
When did the world's greatest deliberative body become a dog and pony show?
That is what I used to hear the US senate called when I was a kid. The world's greatest deliberative body.
.
Okay that is it.
I am done in more ways than one.

I agree that we are limited by the possible spectrum of choices
just that the conservative backlash in this country is too strong
I am a sad man living on the edge of happiness
good luck, Amerika.
I am evidently not impressing anybody,
I thought some of this was supposed to be about flow,
I guess it is about Flo.
Beyond tallking about who to support or not, write letters to congress, the senate, in my state I am up against the wall with intransigence all around, a particularly infuriating Dumbocratic senator, Nelson, a right wing Cuban Sen Martinez (who inherited Bob Graham's seat when he retired and had a weak Dumbocratic opponent whose name I forget and our local entrenched Bill Davis, a Repukeblickin whose congressional web site offerred advice on getting private contracts in Iraq and whose legacy of pork and schmoozong about support for the addiction to militarism is how he gets so many votes. A brave woman Samm ? ran against him last time ad got 50,000 votes, but thhe national dumbocratic party on't support her because she can't raise enough dough on her own, the lady is avowed antiwar, unfortunately also thinks that 9-11-01 was iillusionary that missles not planes crashed into the buildings.
I agree thAt American politics is absurd.
We do have a couple of congress folks, both black, Brown in Jacksonville and Meeks in south Dade county Homestead who both voted against the initial war authorization.
Barak is a nice guy, so is Bill Richardson, Dobbs says he made a mistake, Edwards is a fake, Hillarious is a schmoozer. Puking's just my job.
Obama already had a knife stalker.
Kerry was a big suckass dissassappointment.
shit, vote your conscience, mayby things will get so bad that we'll have a revolting of the masses, but I doubt it.
Politics is not fair. we have to hope for some positive changes, and keep after them like snarling dogs.
I am waiting for Jeb Bush to take away Bill Nelson's senate seat next go-around. Great tradition of ex-Florida governors doing that.
yeah I voted for nader and laDuke, thanks for reminding me that Lieberman was Gore's VP mate, I forgot already,
I hate the fucking Repukeblickins.
you can call the Dumbocrats Repukeblickin-light or you can call them progressive-light, either way the choice is between shit and shinola.
time to get centered
a return to the well
deep breathing
prayers and salutations
just that the conservative backlash in this country is too strong

I am sorry Jack, really, I get so carried away, it is my energy from the rabid right winger and molly ivans telling me to goat her like a snarling dawg
I will go back and re-read those threads by Cecil and others once again
Your are right of course we do need to support those more progressiive candidates, one of whom is third tier Mike Gravel, who was on Democracy Now last week along with the guy who released the Pentagon Papers, mind blank, he was a Marine in the Korean War, Ellsburg, yeah, and Sen Grtavel was the go-to guy with the secret manuscripts while Ellsburg was hiding underground, Gravel got the Pentagon Papers read into the Congressional record, then found a publisher, Beacon Press, who had the guts to print them en mass
http://www.gravel2008.us/
I gotta get into the stronger frame of mind, we gotta hope that Hillarious gets some competition so that a progressive platform comes down at the national convention.

It is not the job of a senator to march in the street it is their job to vote on war resolutions. Byrd was doing his job. The question is where was Hillary, where was Kerry, where was Biden, where was Dodd?
Sure I forgive you.
Sure I forgive you.
But maybe I should take your suggestion and move to the occupied territories. I could not feel more like a stranger there than I do here. Will forgive each other until we both turn blue.
you are right
i am rabid
listening to the house of representatives
live on c span
debating the current resolution on iraq
senator byrd is a magnificent profile in distinguishment
and he ain't perfect either
did i suggest you move to the occupied territories?
mercy that was mean
how could i say something like that?
i hope some angels can hear us
whistling blue in heaven
with fishing poles and bobbers
you got a memory like a clock
if the repukeblickins get the wart haus
and ruth baader ginsberg leaves the court
we are screwed
rooyally
we got to feed the children, man
forgive me until the next time
i engage in defeastist rhetoric
like the lousy dumbocrats
who want to retreat and run
baghdud burning
looters on the loose
green zone turned red
america disgraced
by 4f hippy conscientious objectors
and turncoat military veterans
who came home and cried
not real men like john wayne
but i guarantee
get you backed into a corner
and you would win every time
i believe we make each other stronger
and better
not tearing you down
not wearing you out
we were both frayed
annd are healed
woven by angels
indra's net
cosmic thread
sown finely
bursting at the seams
we hold these truths to be self evident
not the lies that are being sold to amerika

A Senator's Shame
Byrd, in His New Book, Again Confronts Early Ties to KKK
By Eric Pianin
Washington Post Staff Writer
Sunday, June 19, 2005; Page A01
In the early 1940s, a politically ambitious butcher from West Virginia named Bob Byrd recruited 150 of his friends and associates to form a chapter of the Ku Klux Klan. After Byrd had collected the $10 joining fee and $3 charge for a robe and hood from every applicant, the "Grand Dragon" for the mid-Atlantic states came down to tiny Crab Orchard, W.Va., to officially organize the chapter.
As Byrd recalls now, the Klan official, Joel L. Baskin of Arlington, Va., was so impressed with the young Byrd's organizational skills that he urged him to go into politics. "The country needs young men like you in the leadership of the nation," Baskin said.

Not perfect by a long shot.
Here is to friendship
I like a line from a John D McDonald novel.
"a friend is someone you can say any tom fool thing to and still remain friends."
