i'll be gone for a few days while kid's in hospital (ear operation - should be back in 3 days)

edit: december 15. officially home for last day of chanukah vacation, our kid is home - then a week of recuperation. Hope life will treat us all well. Days turn into opportunities to experience ('does anybody really know what time it is? does anybody really care?' - The Guess Who, i'm guessing)

G's with him at the hospital...There are patients in the corridors - the rooms are packed.

Doctors' strike scheduled for tomorrow - sympathy strike cause a doc was beaten up by some relatives of a patient. Doc's in hospital and since he was unprotected by his hospital, all docs are striking on his behalf.

What does that mean? not sure.
but i'll be finding out.

i'm home - partner G is taking the night shift
Arsenal United (is that their name?) provided post op distraction. Soccer is a magic potion.

hospitals can be a drag.
hope we can stay out of them for awhile after Tuesday
