So Dumb Dan sez to me, "STUPID BOB, let's go play a BBQ place up in Denton. It's called Rudy's." And we did. Complete with free gas producing food and drink (and yes, I suffered for it all night).
Meanwhile, Dan gets voluntold he has to go see Sum Dumb Guy at another club after we're finished at Rudy's by his wife, Sharon. As we head to this other place, we pass by the Cop Shop (a place LR is quite familiar with, I assure you). Lo and behold, an Xmas gift for LR is running down the street as we pass by. Seems there was a major sewer line break and 1000's of gallons of waste water were being guttered in memory of LR's past times there. I laughed like Hell . . .

ah yes, SB
I spent many a fond evening in the Denton County Jail. Too many.
I used to play at a club up there called Ruby's (actually Ruby Begonia's, but everybody just called it Ruby's) Last time I played there it was with Wally Wilson. (author of Jacksboro Highway, a tune that John Mayall recorded.)

SB, got your voice mail...having one of those busy crazy fecalicious days. I've listened to the majority of the CD....will finish today. It sounds great, except for the guitar players, the singers, the bass player, the song writers and the recording....other than that, No problem. I'd send it on and we'll do better next time.
Damn...I forgot to tell you about the guitar player I took to the gig Friday night. He was damn good....but he is pretty stupid.
