a voice rejoices, loud it votes
for recognition reasonless—

As fabrics wrapped like ancient Greeks
or Romans, tattered comfort seeks
a stylish symbol seasonless—

As this and that falls mixed within
a stovetop pot where flavors spin
together, taste is found & free—

On senseless whims of wavelength flight,
the television pixels light
up porn or war or comedy—

As ink departs from headlined page
it falls like stamps that swift assuage
the news as puzzled letters pour—

With scatted song and eased-in clothes,
creative taste and boob-tube throws
of newsy laughter, ask: What More?
