You Missus

Post by joel » September 23rd, 2007, 12:59 am

You Missus—what a name to name you now?
We used to laugh so freely. Anyhow....
I simply want to hear you say you cared
Does history we share enough allow
me honestly to share with you but how
To hear you say my love is well compared
I hate to be a liar—and I’m prow
enough, I’m bold enough, to disavow
With love you now possess—that maybe paired
the thought that you can cease my love. Endow
me with the grace of truth and trust I’ll bow
Together we’d have loved if we had dared.
away as graciously: once tell me now—
I miss us. Do you also, Missus, now?
