Interesting that nobody holding the fucking keys to the stealth bombers has tried to answer that question.

it depends
if we lose some of our aircrews
and they are captured, we will have to sue for peace

nothing immediate might happen
just the loosing of nuclear waste into the surrounding areas
there are no active nuke missiles in iran right now
but airstrikes into iran would unite the iranian people into a more firm stance against a moderation

it is possible that some precipitous event would cause an internal shift inside Iran, but without really examining the possible scenarios that would follow an airstrike on Iran, the neo-cons are somehow chafing at their bit to do so. We have at our disposal, stealth bombers that could easily strike anywhere inside Iran with the low possibility of any kind of resistance, a clean airstrike. so they are tempted to do so. With our air tankers, we can ferry these B2 bombers from Missouri to Diego garcia for a pit stop, or just straight in, a long round trip. Sure that all of these potential targets have already been rehearsed on silmuators and are planned for as a contingency. Nobody can predict what will happen afterwards.
If we do this, we must never again assume that our domestic nuclear power plants are safe. Also we could see a stream of Iraqi soldiers storm across the border into Iran and except for massive air power, would have no acute ground defense against such a possibility.

I don't think our wildcat cowboy presidunce has a clue, and he has the keys, and those stealth bomber pilots will do whatever he tells them to. I am sure that they are all screened for that type of psychological profile, primarily technically focussed, without introspective qualities, except those that assuage such a disposition.

Ah yes, in WW2 we quaranteed all the Japanese civiilians, and let the young Japanese American men join the army in Europe where they could be easioly distinguished, not confused with the "enemy."

We have a lot of Iranians already living inside the USA today, hard to distinguish from anybody else. I know one guy who was a draft dodger during the Iran-Iraq War. He walked out of Iran into Armenia with some other guys, now lives in Tampa, where he works as a physical therapist and nuclear medicine radiology tech. The other fellow was in the Iranian army in the Iran-Iraq war. Moved to Canada afterwards, lived in To9ronto where he studied Hapkido and yoga. He is a true jedi now, yeaches yoga to old folks and self defense to kids, in a dojo in st Pete.

AN AIRSTRIKE INTO iRAN IS NOT NECESSARY, WHATEVER THE OUTCOME.
but I forsee Iran being drawn into Iraq overtly by American airstrikes and the loss of the entire region in Shiite dominated iraq by American neo-con oil men, which would mean the further devaluation of the Yankee dollar, as our national debt would further increase as the duunce of a president further escalates this madness.

Let's have Bush read Rumi and the Ayatollah read On Walden Pond...and hope and pray and protest against any moves in more-war directions.

Don't appease the terrorists.

We must start wars everywhere at any time.

Freedom isn't free.

Blackwater needs new battleareas to secure.

Shit.
At this point I expect one of these "terrorist" nations will have to save us from our own government. I mean, it's about the only logical conclusion I can come to anymore....

I can't spit when I say the name Paul Bremmer
as in disband the army interim pro consul to the provisional authority of Iraq. I cant remember what his job was, but it was a lot like a roman pro consul in a new roman territory. He had absolute authority in Iraq for a while. General Garner pleaded with bremmer not to disband the Iraqi army, said it would put fifty thousand armed insurgents on the street overnight. I think Bush gave Bremmer a medal for the bang up job he did in Iraq.

oh well don't matter anymore
as Bushie would say
"that's history"

yeah I am pissed jim
i am putting the whole thing on just compassion for the iraqi people and the young americans fighting this unecessary war.

All the Blackwater scandal and Turkish geno-cide stuff's distracting US from the real mission: invading Iran.
