The point of my post is to say, the man, Al Sharpton, the black civil rights leader, is NOT a saint, and IMHO should not be portrayed as one. He uses the 'good cause' .....whether you want to believe it or not.

Not once did I ever state that the civil-rights movement is compared to the evil of white racism. But, one must keep aware, that in all aspects of life, there is evil, my friend. You cannot follow everything blindly...............

I didn't say to forget about those issues forever. I'm just saying that right now the focus needs to be on ending this bogus war, cleaning out our government corruption, and removing all the edits to the constitution that have been added in the past few years.

Then, when we are moving in the direction of being whole again, and full of lessons learned, we can more sucessfully take on the other issues.
We have no credibility anywhere that isn't money based right now, and we won't have any until we clean up our dirty act here.

"Park Heights Avenue Tripe"

In the early fifties when Afro R&B music was first hitting the AM band in baltimore there was a black DJ called "The Rod" He used to rap way before rappers. "Park Heights Avenue Tripe" was in a riff of his. Park Heights Ave was the heart of the Jewish ghetto back then. All the Jews had moved away from Jew town in east baltimore, except for my folks.
Well anyway

I used to wonder about that tripe bit, I thought it was kind of funny.

About ten years later I was with C.O.R.E. picketting a Jewish Delhi out around Park Heights Ave. They would not serve Swatzas (spelling yiddish word for black, close to german) A little sweet looking gray haired bubbie said loud enough for us all to hear,
"What is wrong with these people? I would not want to go where I was not wanted." This when Maryland real estate law still had deed covenants against Jews owning prperty in some areas.
I don't know why I should expect more from Jews when it comes to racism.

Yeah Micheal Kelly already got two assault convictions, and the bit about the weapon being a tennis shoe not exactly what I been reading. Katrina kind of shattered my illusions of race relations in the new south...

I spent my childhood years in a sea of blackness. We got left behind in Jewtown when it turned into a black ghetto.

But when I was about five or six years old my bubbie cought me and black kid with our members out measuring them to see who had the biggest one. I had not idea what it was for but he challenged me that his was bigger than mine. After that she wouldn't let me play with the black kids anymore. The bastard accused me of cheating said I was strechting mine to make it seem bigger.

That DA in that county sounds like a racist son of bitch. Like the past fifty years of civil rights never happened. The black population of Luisiana is about 33 percent. The black population of that county is about ten percent.
