Ahmadineyad propone reubicar Israel en norteamérica

El presidente de Irán, Mahmud Ahmadineyad, se mostró hoy a favor de "reubicar" Israel lejos de Medio Oriente y del mundo islámico y sugirió que el norte del continente americano podría ser la alternativa.


"Canadá y Alaska tienen grandes territorios. ¿Por qué no lo reubican (a Israel) ahí y lo mantienen con (una ayuda de) 30.000 ó 40.000 millones de dólares por año para que construya una nueva existencia?", dijo Ahmadineyad en un discurso durante una manifestación antiisraelí.

"Pregunté a Europa y a Estados Unidos si estaban de acuerdo en dividir su territorio y devolverle (a Israel) una parte de él", agregó el mandatario, quien hace dos años ya propuso "alejar Israel del mundo islámico" creando un Estado judío en suelo alemán o austríaco.

Irán no reconoce la existencia de Israel e insiste en celebrar un referendo para aclarar la situación geográfica y política de "los territorios palestinos ocupados", en el que deberían votar millones de refugiados palestinos.

El último miércoles, Ahmadineyad aseguró que Irán tiene una "misión internacinoal" para frenar la hegemonía israelí en Medio Oriente.

Ahmadineyad también afirmó hoy que el Holocausto no debía representarse como "un asunto santo, más santo que Alá y los profetas" y como "un pretexto para iniciar otro genocidio contra Palestina", informó la agencia de noticias DPA.

La nación iraní, agregó, "condena el asesinato de cualquier pueblo inocente, sin importar si se trata de musulmanes, cristianos o judíos", y considera "criminales" a Adolf Hitler y a todos los responsables de los asesinatos cometidos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.

El líder iraní, sin embargo, volvió a pedir la creación de una comisión internacional para esclarecer la dimensión real del holocausto.

El último líder de la Revolución Islámica, Ayatolá Ruhollah Jomeini, instauró el día "Quds" cada último viernes del mes santo del ramadán. La fecha sirve para reclamar la liberación de Jerusalén ("Quds" en árabe) de la ocupación israelí.

Cientos de miles de personas asistieron hoy a las manifestaciones organizadas por el Estado con este motivo, informó la televisión estatal, entre lemas como "Muerte a Israel" y "Muerte a Estados Unidos".

Ahmadineyad proposes to relocate Israel in North America
