It seems evident...
That I need to stay away from the internet for a little while and get my head together. So consider this a temporary leave of abscence notice. Love you all.

once the animal dies
then the hide-skin dries
sinews lace it over the barrel
christmas gift of beaten carol
hide me when my deaths come
even if the head won't ache me then
but let me keep my body from
the sweet percussion concussions when
it's wanted back again
time to play again
beat the drums -- not be the drums again
beat the slums of here, get out
and come back so we can celebrate
(we who are always here)
this sister of ours needed to leave for a while,
but now has returned--
was dead
and now lives
and what gives
more hope to cope with the damn-it-all
than ditch
till stitches tie you back--
the sweet kind that simply dissolve away.

There is no well to poison
only to drink from
to cool, soothe the aching throat
that shouts out silently

I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

surfermike used to hate those teary goodbyes on litkicks
mousey1 to the rescue
she will toss you a ku
when you really need it
I get my moments of silence here
a hundred yards from the main line of the southern pacific
the trains pass by like temple bells
the jet fighters from the airforce base across the road
"take flight like epiphanies"
the ambulances from the emergency squad down the street
like the siren's' call
even so
I eek out a few moments of silence
now and then
I do my best prayers in the silence
gracias
