Pakistan

Post by hester_prynne » November 6th, 2007, 4:03 pm

Yesterday, so many people I ran into seemed to be calmly talking about how what is happening in Pakistan is like a trial run for what is going to happen here.
Okay. So... no problem then?
Shit!!!!!!!!!!!!
If there is anyone out there that can give me some sort of interpretation, or understanding of what this all means I'd be grateful.
I mean, it's freaky!
Was this expected?
I can't make heads or tails of it from any media source.
Why did this happen? What is going on?

Oh yeah
Pakistan undone

another country that never should a been
like iraq ,checkloslovakia, and a bunch of others I forget.
imperial powers drawing imaginary lines on the earth
grouping together peoples with no regard for ethic animosities
epluribus unum ha.
god forgive me for this unedited mess fix it all later

Ghandi died
India partitioned
Pakistan a hodgepodge of tribal grudges

1948 or 1949
I used to have a Hindu boss
cool dude
I used to sneak hamburgers out of the company cafeteria for that Hindu hypocrit.

He told me all about it
his eyes would water when he spoke of Ghandi's murder.

I been thinking about doing a poll
who are the best protesters
buddhists monks
long haired hippies
or lawyers.

Lawyers on every corner
and I keep thinking of that old jackson browne song
Lawyers In Love

god forgive me for this unedited mess fix it all later got to go

sorry I still have not edited it yet

Pakistan has about 50 nuclear weapons they say.

And they have sold the technology to Iran, North Korea, al-Qaeda, and others.

Bhutto is being portrayed as a moderate but that guy Khan the father of Pakistan's nuclear weapon industry did his dirty work on her watch.
Makes me wonder
makes me wonder
If she can keep it under control if she does take over
One got damn macho society
can a woman rule it

am I a sexist?
I been thinking about voting for hillary cause she has the best tush of any of the candidates.

When the United States learned in 2001 that Pakistani scientists had shared nuclear secrets with members of al-Qaeda, an alarmed Bush administration responded with tens of millions of dollars worth of equipment such as intrusion detectors and ID systems to safeguard Pakistan's nuclear weapons.

Count me in sister

It is a lonely universe. Remember high school when you had a million friends? I was hurt when my best friend dropped me when we went to college. I remember my homeboy telling me that if you make one or two friends in a lifetime you are fortunate.

Thinking about that damned bell curve again. The people out at the tail end of the curves. We are all one percenters each in our own way.

"It is not enough to have every intelligent person in the country voting for me. I need a majority."
