All I wanted when I woke up this morning was to write something totally profound. Is that asking too much? I just wanted to dash off a couple of sonnets that would make Shakespeare blush, or to pen the last chapter of the novel I've been sweating on for years. Even a bit of Swiftian social commentary would have satisfied me.

But alas, all I've been able to accomplish all day is some paltry ad copy and a few emails and the odd post on internet bulletin boards.

I console myself with the fact that it's not midnight yet.

It´s an imperialist site. I refuse to translate my height and weight to ft, in & lbs so ignorance will be my path till the parca meets me.
Yeah, maybe I write a testament someday...once a friend of mine wrote a testament before he joined an andinist-climbing trip. I would have a lot of CDs now., but he came back.
