spontaneous
does not mean
serious
taken at your word
no just words
perhaps abstract
not talking to
any one
in particular
maybe more to self
no matter how hard
the try
it all becomes gym class
jen and alexis
becky and samantha
cindy....ah cindy
perhaps the hypothesis is
wrong....partially
seen from all sides
jam is sticky
do you think there's
an audience for ooze
does anyone read this
does does does
take the dose
swallow the pill
cliche good or bad
the way it's said
words abstract'
cyber stung i bee
staying out of discussions
once again
point always too sharp
now "LIVE"
there's no problem
getting long winded
just wanna jam!!!!!!!!

working man's blues
taking a break from the phone
a lot of happy drunks calling in for music cd's and video's
women are breaking my heart
just the sound of that purring voice
oh well
yes dis jamming ain't for sissies
ain't just for poets neither
because what would I be doing here.

mighty fine image words of pearls, wooden ships, fair winds and bejeweled sails, homesick me for the sea,

Baltimore Clippers
my heart takes sail
Beautiful slave haulers
and tea from China

sail away sail away
Red emma she say
If I can't dance to it
it ain't for me

Sailboat for my birthday
hanging up high on my wall
he sails across visual field
abstractions I know
but there it is
a ship on the wall
and another sailing in my skull

oh lord lord lordy
I can hear the sound of the hull cutting through the water, the creak of wood masts, at 22 knots

take me home sheandoah
down the mississippi to the gulf of mexico
She is headed west to baltimore
from the docks in old Cathay

motorcycle a second choice
a nasty internal combustion engine a poor replica of the sound of wind in the sails

but wha's a poor boy to do
the only cure for this metafiscal blues
got to hammer hammer on something
I get off in two hours still be dark, thinking about a night ride.
Maybe I will be sober by then, if not take a nap

whoa where is the beat
I got a go back to the phone
listen to america in the lonely night
calling in to save a child, or buy women's undies, exercise machines, stop smoking miracles, loose weight on the beer and potato chip diet, endless youth skin care...

weirdest when it is slow, crank calls are crankier, bart simpson calls at least three times every night between midnight and four am.

where is that kid's parents

go to go
think ocean mother ocean
privateers twelve cannon on those old wooden ships
"a pirate looks at Seventy"

ship is a she is a wonder of the world
and a rose is a rose
submit><><>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

life is burning at me
burning myself out as fast as I can
time dies hard for me
since I became so enlightened

"Life goes on long after the thrill of living is gone"

my highway hero the homeboy come over to give me some motor cycle tips. I told him I was still afraid of it.
He cut right to the chase, he told me to sell it or use it.
He is my big brother sevent four years old, still out there doing his alpha alpha plus plus thing. After two heart attacks and a stroke. The stroke was weird, he said it left little black dots in his visual field, he could not ride his motor cycle for a while. Now he compensates for it or his vision is back cause he come over on his fire red 150 mph Ninja. But he has slowed down some, he stopped racing on the senior circuit after the stroke. He went over my motorcycle and found a couple of serious problems

I had about 5 psi in the front tire, no wonder it was scaring the hell out of me. also when I laid it over i broke one of the handle bar ends off and he said that would make a difference too.

I think I am good to ride now, fixed the problems and feeling comfortable
but still got an edge which I think is good to have for a beginner or maybe
even an experienced rider.

Patterson park high school year book for 1959
said I had the gift of gab and I was going to be a great physician one day
like my big brother the homeboy.

Can't go home
walk the streets
Caroline and Eastern
cobblestones and rail road tracks
gas street lamps
lamp lighter with his ladder
fog horns
gone world
childhood continues
even so
innocence and guilt
love abounds
watched over by loving family

it was all good
what's next
life is still sweet
time retreats
