The Huckabee affair sort of demonstrates that "contextual" view of politics: Huckabilly and the GOP good ol boys may suck, but given the Clinton machine, and the Dixiecrats, they don't suck quite as much. I don't trust conservative xtians, but that doesn't mean one trusts statist liberals instead, does it?

And as long as we're talking "no clear dichotomy" here, how much of a "statist" dichotomy is there between the left and right anymore?
