Sighh.... Huge problem and you can read about it all over the net, all over the news.... Hasbro says it's copyright infringement.
This is nuts! They should thank the developers for developing this software and go into business with them. I had no idea until this happened that Scrabulous is one of the Facebook applications. It's way popular. I only play it on the site, not on Facebook. But what a huge following it has! Hasbro is foolish to try to shut the site down when they could partner with it somehow. I sure hope they work it out.
If you're curious about this situation, just google "scrabulous" and "hasbro" and the links to articles go on page after page after page.
And if you like the game and want to play, get in touch because we better play soon before it's too late. My screen name over there is "studioeight." Clever, huh?
If they don't work it out and the site goes away, I guess I can write poetry again. Word play is word play, after all, right? But, the trouble is, I can't WIN when I write poetry. I like to win. Maybe I'll write some songs. Nah, can't win with that, either.
