Image

Willem De Kooning
Oil On Plywood
30" x 48"

Was going to do Tom Thompson, but I think he was camera shy as I could only find limited photos to work from...

wasn't dekooning related with a woman
or did he have a woman as nemesis?
anyhow
building upon your own strong design qualities into figurative works

i have to get back into my sketching again
a portrait practice group on Frydays when not working
can not afford the art center classes anymore
and am a soccer fan on saturday mornings
with the open sketch class
nulla dia sines linea

i did do a drawing last week
an illustration of a man with several dressing changes
as it was hard for the nurses to visualise them
if he is still there next wednesday, i will make a copy and upload it.
:)

This is great! I love it!

Can i use some of your paintings for banners? please say yes... i will credit you, of course.

This would make a great banner.. and some of your NY photos ... i've not been making new banners lately. I've been so busy.. but I want to feature your work.

If you say no, it's ok ;)

Hope you like the book. You're in it! Wish I could send you a free copy but can't afford it. Thank you so much for your contributions!
