Beware

Post by westcoast » March 15th, 2008, 5:31 pm

Pinning pale arms akimbo

The dissection

Gagged with beauty's ball

Beware the poetry man
whore to inspiration

Black hole heart
at ease
sucking
marrow

Pretty words
Properly timed

Conquest

Of letters

what is good about it is how succinct it is... in both images and phrasing... i really like this piece, west!

"beware the poetry man" ... indeed

quantum poetry
spooky entanglement
conquered by letters

Thanks for writing
I got one of those black hole thingies in my heart too I think.
The latest scientific mythology says they are portals to another universe, the light/matter/energy passes through them to create new stars on the other side.

please pardon the ramble
I may not have a black hole in my heart
I may just be a hypochondriac.
and I am a hell of a poser when it comes to quantum physics

Hey, you changed your comment! I didn't take it personally - every poet has darkness.

Unfortunately, the writer referenced in the poem dabbles beyond the genreral modus operandi. Truly creepy stuff.

Glad you enjoyed 'truck'n, doreen and constantine. You all inspire me greatly :)

my appologies.

I wish I knew more about poetry
how it changes me

subtle electro chemical changes in my brain
