deus ex machina

God ended up suspended as disbelief
A rickety crane hoisting [H]im atop
Of the universal stage craft

Of course Nietzsche said god is dead
and Mao Zedong saw that god was red
but truth be told gods doing fine
we're hanging out drinking good old wine

(I just bring the water, it's good to have friends in high places)
Leave the letter that never begins to go find the latter that ever comes to end, written in smoke and blurred by mist and signed of solitude, sealed of night.

God said, "I'd be better off dead"
and hence the deed was done
Then He sat back, to get some laughs
while the philosophers had their fun
