S8 in Real Danger
A web worm that identifies potential victims by searching Google is spreading among online bulletin boards using a vulnerable version of the program phpBB, security professionals said on Tuesday. Almost 40,000 sites may have already been infected.
In an odd twist if you use Microsoft's Search engine to scan for the phrase 'NeverEverNoSanity'--part of the defacement text that the Santy worm uses to replace files on infected Web sites--returns nearly 39,000 hits.
Might wanna talk to Conundrum, the phpBB folks and your ISP, doe-doe.
Everyone else needs to hold their breathe and hope no one uses Google to search for S8.

Yeah, judih.... thanks! I just went into the site files and took a look. The entire avatar directory is empty, unfortunately.
But the upgrade fix today was a necessary one.
Occupational hazard, I suppose.
I put an announcement up in the announcements forum about it.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
show us your butterfly again...... OK?
