My first surgery

Post by YABYUM » April 2nd, 2008, 1:46 pm

I had pins put into my hand and fingers yesterday. Horrible experience. I broke two fingers and my left hand. Being "put under" is no fun. I hate not being in control almost as much as typing with one hand. If you want to see xrays and more pics......my wife has a funnier way of expressing ourself..... http://frombeerstobabies.blogspot.com/

today is day 10 just sitting home. So bored. Pain killers keep me in constant nap time. Hopefully I will be able to work this monday. Very glad I have AFLAC. it hurts worse after surgery than it did the day after I fucked it up.

my very first run down the mountain on a snowboard. I was haulin ass and tried to do a hardcore layback turn. Instead, I caught the front rail in the ice and face planted at an estimated 30 mph. My left hand hit the ice first.

YOWCH! ... sorry to hear this ronnie!

you can type with your right hand so write some poetry for us, ok?

this has got to be somehow inspiring... what with all the pain and everything. Isn't pain supposed to be the best catalyst for poetry?

Heal quickly, OK? Don't stay on those meds for too long... or you'll need them even when you're better.

How's Denese doing? When is the baby due?

Cecil...It's a great life. Now I know what all the travellin was for.

PS. dont be afraid to subscribe to Deneses blog (my signature) It will prove to be the journal of our journey. The more subscriptions, the more inspired she'll be to keep it updated. (i hope)

you know what the definition of major surgery is, don't you?

It's when they are doing it on YOU
