i have listened to baptist so called angelic
voices, the choice on a level or a dock, rock
and rolled battered shrimp guitar clocked in
like string maestroes, holes in the body of
the instrument, six gun mollies, sunday sermons
cohorted by jangled change and i have been
rearranged by leather in a five cent sweater,
jacksoned by experience, divided by ten
multiplicable questions but y'know what?
i continue to use whatever works despite
the repetition, family limbs, family branches,
family fireworks shot off from a field so real
it would make your brother sister lover son
daughter friend pass it on to a next generation.
hats off to the crowd, pennies, quarters, repeats
of performances by mr bo,
jangles so low he couldn't tell
the difference between
abysmal and hell
