I love to visit cities.... was fun the other night in Baltimore!
But I could never live in a city. I can't breathe.
Two or three days? I love it! Any longer, I long for the countryside.

Frederick is probably the largest size of a city I could live in and that's pushing it.

There's wayyyy too many people out here in the burbs, too, but I do have my 1/4 acre and the trees and birds and squirrels keep me company. It's not much land, but it's still more land than in the city.

Ideally, I'd like to live in a very small town on the shore. Create Studio Eight LIVE! in my gallery/performance/cafe space. Own a little hotel for artists next door.

Hah! it used to bother me back in the days when PARTY was a "four-stage rock it, " and being alone on Saturday was fucked up. But at my age being out on Saturday is fucked up.

It does amuse me on this 'puter seeing the younger folks on it all night Fridays and Saturdays... it just ain't right!

I went to pick up my glasses a few weeks ago and the guy who helped me was about 20 or so. He looked so antsy.. like he really wanted to get out of there. I said, "I'm sorry I came so late. It's Friday night. You probably have plans." He answered, "Yeah right. All I do on Friday night is hang out on my space talking to girls who don't live around here."



He was a handsome young man, too.

The internet has really changed the world.
