Dancing alone -
infinite
eternal
circle
of one...
no fun.

watching
waiting
wallflowers
hesitate
until
asked
others gasp
for breath
or grab a beer...

but
the word-song
is grooving,
capering
through
the soul.

Words flit,
float,
flutter
in the throat,
palpitate
the heart,
soar
in the soul.

Pensively
pondering
provokes
perpetual
progression
of pirouetting
poems.
immeasurable...illogical...infinity squared

maybe there

a ? following it
the point being
without response
WHY?
which is another
multi-word
there is no finality
in either word
only wonder
and that's another
word with many
meanings
jweeble your

i'm trying to express

Dancing a tangled tango
Dancing alone
it's better than not dancing at al

I'll even dance wih a mop
"mop mop mop mop"
http://www.lyricsdownload.com/the-ames- ... yrics.html

I got two left feet
I hear a different drummer
Can't remember a melody
even so
I'll dance alone if I have to
cause
if I can't dance I don't want to be
in that number
when dem saints go marcin in

howdy jweeble
I like your poetry

Thank you kindly for allowing me to dance...

my moves may be quirky
and a little bit jerky
as I shake
and groove to your tune
but the passion is growing
words are a-flowing
flashy adjectives
heat up the room.

:) morning

80 pages in 3-1/2 years, let's be clear.
That's 22.85714284714 pages per year.
Which is almost 2 pages per month!
(1.9047619046 pages per month, to be exact,
as a matter of fact.)

It's rare that any thread on this site
would get 2 pages per month, right?
So this thread is very special, much more
than an exercise in the conceptual!
It is definitely perpetual!

and what's more it's fun
to be rhyming on the run
and not be the only one
like a shadow in the sun
it's sensational
recreational
insightful... delightful
and stuff like that there
better here than where
i could've been
dancing on a pin
that dizzy spin i'm in
that old black magic of loooove!

sunny side up
implies moon side down
naked sun-bathing on the roof-
coconut oil
salty skin
fire to touch
sip ice-water straw
through sun-burnt
bee-stung lips
blue eyeliner
on come-hither eyes
and skin hotter only
than the passion within -
oh to be 16 again
immeasurable...illogical...infinity squared

freefall ayahusca
spider monkey on the left
serpent on the right
the flip side
sommersalting pineal style
jester's in the balconies
blue scrabble pieces
it's after the break-a-day
that I hold on to my
faithful dog

at close of the day
out on the front porch
could not get a drink of ayahusca
settled for a mickey's malt liquor

to be 16 again
Atlantic city
summer of fifty six
true love
never been kissed
sweet 16
damn
that ache is still there
how did I let her slip away
I know
but the answer is so stupid
for all the times I broke my mother's heart
she only broke mine once
got dam mama's boy

sweet regret
but even so
I am grateful to know
That I knew what love was.

Gotta GO
with the words I got
I wish had some beat to go with them.....>>>>>.

it is such a sweet memory
I don't care anymore
I mean about true love lost
I would still say
keep your pounds and crowns and pennies
but give your heart away.

much much better to have loved and lost
then to have never loved at all.

never give your money away
believe me
you can live without a heart
try it without money

just jiving
shucking an jiving
thinking about red fox
and his joke about NYC
if a feller comes up to you and puts a shot gun to your head and says give me all your money
or I will blow your brains out
let him do it
cause you can live in NYC without brains.

She broke my heart twice in fact
once when she told me a girl was not good enough for me
and then again years later
when she told me I was not good enugh for the girl
I was not her favorite son
just her baby boy

"let him marry who he will
I only wish that he love me
as I love him" plath quoted from memory poem for her son

what go
what a no go
my appologies to the mdoerator

I want to leave on a high note
Swing low over dixie
Sail out over a wine dark sea
Walk the beach of a Greek Island
So many things I want to do
Under the sun
this time so precious
go going gone

a fond farewell to page 80
