yeah no need to tell Clay when he hits a homer
but sometimes I got to pull him over
make sure he still has his poetic license
check his figurative language
like when he compares security guards to the gestapo
just a personal problem for me.

"when you are swerving on life's highway, you are running someone off the road" some Texas troubador nobody here ever heard of.
Clay said:
Who issues those poetic licenses anyway? Certainly not the DMV, or any other government body.
Clay said:
Well, I will remember that the next time you claim it is okay because you have the poetic license to write about being nigger rich.my poetic license was revoked long ago

Some states are called second chance states
California
move there and you are in a hwole new bag
Waltzing across texas
as holy a ground as I know
been in and out of texas since 1968
Texas is my land of infinite chances
This whole country is
World unto its own music
I got to google that whitman
poem
about the wanderer
I did not want to come back to texas this time Clay
I had a happy home in the shenandoah valley
but am at home anywhere
This whole greasy oily dirty still beautiful planet is my home.
Do me a favor
I am not comfortable with the macho manly humor
you know
I am a hell of a nice guy clay
I don't want to beat anybody up
you make some odd comments some time
especially when you get in pissing contests with "the lazy bear"

brother in law song to the tune of mother in law
the bear
native texan
his family name on the wall at the alamo
he tells me his great great grandfather was a carpenter
at the alamo
he built himself a back door
split for baltimore.
just a family joke
this looking into each other's eyes is a chick thing I think, we (me and the bear) hardly ever look each other in the eye when we talk, only occasionaly maybe because of something that is said or the tone of how it was said, will bring our eyes together
I would say that might be a universal masculine trait except for our fearless leader in washington, who is fond of looking putin in the eyes.
Good poem
what the hell is the point of telling you that
trying to think if I might have anything worthwhile saying about it beside chit chat.
Actually two poems, the first one is fun to listen to
the second meaning full
About that drink in San Marcos
We could move it a little closer to big D, Hillsboro?
I wonder if they still have that liquor license at Carl's Corner?

I am told that Willie Nelson has bought Carl's Corner. I'm sure they probably have a liquor license, they at least have a bio-fuel licence.gypsyjoker wrote:

Carl sold me the property on which I built my dome.
