What do you look for in a partner?

Go ahead. Talk about it.

Just a what if question. I realize you are not looking

But
if you were looking
what would you be lookiing for?

Or do you think it makes any sense to look.?

Seems like there is an element of chance, or fate in finding a partner.

To seek with out seeking.

that's the scary thing - the element of chance!!

okay, here it is
what i REALLY want

lots of sex
laughter and good times
enjoying each other
a guy who stays home
pursues the arts maybe
writes, cooks and cleans
(all venerable pursuits)
he looks after the domestic side of life for us
while i slug it out in the corporate world
making bags of money we pleasure ourselves with

*sighs*

LOL - yeah that's the problem ;)

what man wants a sugar mama???
they're all too proud...

like it's some form of reverse
discrimination
to be a sex object
and serve me my meals

lol, i am talking about an arrangement
much more contemporary than it sounds above
nevertheless, it appears to be a challenge

.

I donno... I don't think you should have a problem at all. There are probably plenty of them out there who would love to have a sugar mamma. I've met a few and I don't even have any money!!!! Geez.

But now that you brought this up.... I'm adding money to my list. I would love to find a partner who could take care of me financially so I could pursue my interests.

My list is growing. This is a wonderful exercise.

Oprah says that if you write it down, it will come true.

hehe... and if Oprah says so, well, it's got to be true, right?

gotta say goodnight now

I would apply but I probably smoke too much
and it's impossible to house-break me
my sense of humor is too outrageous for any sane woman
and housekeepers are less than ten bucks an hour

I enjoy you too, westie
you shoot straight
and I'm glad we can talk without me offending you with my smoke

I always try to be nice, but sometimes I'm a miserable failure at it
because I shoot straight too

Clay, I put it back into the post above.

yeah, well, i appreciate you being real.
that's what matters,
i may not agree with you,
and you may hear about it,
but looks like we can both live with that -
so cool.

this is a strange exercise in time travel

Of course...there is no such thing as perfection, wabi sabi. Beauty is imperfect, transient. (I am a musing myself...)

A perfect mate to me is a man (first of all) who doesn't take himself too seriously, who knows how to laugh when all else is failing. He needs a universal humor (I was raised by clowns, you know.)

Secondly, a perfect mate must like women, like to be in our company, like how our brains work (viva la...!) He must not be intimidated or feel the compulsion to beat us down in order to feel superior. He can check that gun at the door.

Thirdly, he must be a good man, a man of good works, good heart and like a good dog.

Finally (there is an ending?) he must be crazy (insane really) about me...and all of 'me' parts. He must think I am the best thing that ever happened to him (and I am.)

Freedom's just another word...
