SmileGRL at Arcanum Cafe is drawing the members of that site. Here's her drawing of me. Isn't that sweet?

To answer stilltrucking/tarbaby's question from constantine's doctor strange thread, the avatar I'm using today came from this drawing by smilegirl on another site and this is the photo she did it from -
my profile photo at AC.

it's not a signature, truckin/tarbaby .. it says "jazzy" on my arm

Lrod saw the drawing and told me she made my nose look like the wicked witch of the west.

heh

oh well.. i like it... she captured the greek/lebanese/middle eastern hook. ;)

Peri is greek? Or lebanese? No wonder you are such a pretty lady!

Yes, SmileGrl is a talented and loving artist. Too bad I left before she could draw me :)

I really like this one of you. She captured your essence.

Thanks, westie... yeah i like it too.. it's whimsical!

No, Peri is a name i took when my second ex-husband moved out. No, actually, it has been my name from several years before that. It's a shortened version of his last name which I don't want to have any more. One day I will change my name legally to Peri. But it really doesn't matter because that's who I am and who I'll always be from here on out.

My heritage is greek and lebanese on my dad's side (my paternal grandmother was greek, my paternal grandfather was lebanese). My mother has anglo heritage ... blond hair, blue eyes. I'm just a rather homely freckle-faced mutt. lol

;) you're a dear

oh WOW! i did not expect to see this here. this thread is TOO funny  sorry about the nose doreen...these things happen when you try to draw without lifting your hand...artistic freedom, yes? hah.

eastvan/westcoast (boy, it's gonna be hard for me to start calling you wc now. my mind's gonna need to do a double reverse tumble  ) i was really sad when you left arcan. i miss you over there. and maybe i'll draw you one too someday, when i get in the drawing mood again. haha.

lol... smilieOne.... I love it!

AND my nose DOES make a hook like that ... it's a family thing... I don't care... I love my nose. LOL!

Lightning Rod was just funnin' with me..... It's not about your drawing. ;)

BUT... to use it as an avatar, well, and since this is cyberville.. AND since I know how to use photoshop, I just did a little cyber nose job that's all.... heh... why not? It's electronic makeup. :P

If I could figure out how to use photoshop to help me with the nose in real life and to drop 10 pounds, now THAT would be great! One day maybe they'll have a Photoshop Gym & Spa or something.

Seriously, you're drawings were fabulous! All of them! I was honored.

I'm so glad you made your way here. Hope you enjoy yourself. We'll be looking forward to your posts.

Wasn't that fun?

You made me look regal!

And the horse in the background is a great touch.

Or maybe that's an ass?

There were a lot of asses there.

  8)
