small treasure

This is Constantine's artlog. He posted his poems in his own artlog forum for several years. He named the forum "Constantinople" and described it as "A byzantine journey through life's labyrinth."

small treasure

Post by constantine » May 8th, 2008, 3:59 pm

i wonder what she is thinking
who she is and what is her story
as she leans against the wall
with the stars above her head
what secrets does she carry within her pockets
that hide her hands like a small treasure
that warm her from the cold and dark
i would like to talk to her hands
to hear what they might say
and clasp them as if they were my own

for the lady with blue eyes

you don't really want to know. those blue eyes... cold like her hands. can you imagine the chill up your spine if she touched you!

Indeed, to imagine more positively about that would make the idea more appealing.

It's a trip to see two men vying for one woman's attention. Fictionally and poetically, of course. ;)

Enjoyed this poem, constandino! :)
It's lovely and passionate.
