WASHINGTON - Tim Russert, NBC News’ Washington bureau chief and the moderator of “Meet the Press,” died Friday after being stricken at the bureau, NBC News said Friday. He was 58.

so sad... he was so young

i wonder what he died of... what's "after being stricken" mean?

He was working at the Washington news bureau on Sunday's 'Meet the Press" when he had a heart attack.

(i've read a few of the articles now.. i can't find heart attack stated anywhere... they say collapsed or stricken... hmmm... seems so strange)

was it a heart attack? cecil says yes ... but i can't find anything stating that in news reports
