My Brother's Band Playing At The Marquette Waterfront Fest

Post by Dave The Dov » June 9th, 2008, 5:35 pm

He started his band I think about 2 - 3 years ago. They play a style of acoustical Brazilian music from all over that area of the country. This was the first time that I ever saw his band play. Enjoy!!!!

Good shots Dave.

Kinda strange to see all those empty red seats-- almost eerie (is that the right word?), as if some big public scare shut down the festival, but the band decided to crank out some type of inverted samba anyway, quite methodically, it appears-- well except for the woman, who's energized.... Thanks.

Actually his band was the first one to play and they might have been one of only two bands to play that day. Due to stormy weather that was happening around that time. His band has gotten a pretty good following.

His band put out a CD not long ago. When I get one I'll send you a copy of it.

great photos!!!!! I like the name of the band, the colorful banner and the fact that so far from Brazil acoustic samba music is alive & kicking!!!!! Can you film them while they are performing and share it with us?. It would be great!!!!!!!!! :D

I did shoot some video. But unfortunately my camera doesn't have a mic on it. So this is all that I could do.

But here is the myspace page for the band!!!! :D
