Lies, Damned Lies and Poetry

Post by Lightning Rod » June 22nd, 2008, 3:19 pm

I try to be honest
but everyone tells lies
we are all liars
but lies can tell the truth

at times ONLY lies can tell the truth
the truth is elusive
lies are finite and unprovable
I'm not making excuses here.

Would I lie?
Yes, if it helped.

Weren't they all supposed to end up
somewhere near one and the same?

I tell lies with my breath sometimes.

Interesting line
Considering how our senses lie to us.
