Satan's left hand man lives in upstate new york
he says his apartment is easy to find
its the only one with wind chimes
hanging outside the door

but one look at all the books he had
of self improvement, motivation & inspiration
gave me time - a last moment to change my mind
I just said thank you no & out the door & if
I'd had a pole I woulda gone fishing just then
but I had just a car that I jumped in where
the goin' is easy & clean & clear 'round the bend
and we carry no canned tunes don't ya know
no cd no mp3

& go

givin' is livin' all the way thru to true
so I've eaten my meat & finished my beer
and on my way toward gittin' outta here
