- A LANDMARK LOVE -

Post by HaroHalola » July 3rd, 2008, 1:01 pm

...It's reasonable
to Be unreasonable
though reasonable
to place ten whorl-placed
phonecalls...not
without reason; now
that's not unreasonable,
(Is It?) or Is it?

Hell
(not the place?)
would that we would
not be out-of-Integrity this
would Be, Out-of-Integrity -

INTEGRAL!
Not unreasonably.

And if we march
& manifest-out
the Vehicle (for Possibilities), well...
then unreasonability
Facilitates, again...
Not, not unreasonably!
(Did I mention Mobthink, er Groupthink?)

The Resume`
We presume-subsumed,
don't matter here... plugged-in
We resume...

Manifest
Your Dreams,
A Forum for
expanding your
Social Platform
Shoes strapped-in for business
still, yet in semenal Inquiry...
Listen, to apply
"The Secret,"
We're all
Symonyms, walkin'
The Trend, talkin'
The Jargone
(Orgone?, nay, ya got that Reich!)

Taking temperature's-temperatures
giving/extracting Empowerment Tolles?
(Icky Hearts!)
A New Earth, wider girth
(Robbins' loss & Phil's cocke lost Robin's cosher - O Mag. G*d!)
for the Haves 'n Havemores
("Honey, the Havemores're here!")

Into
the Vehicle-For-Impossibilities!
There 'tis, the
Twinged Towering Landmark, Love
Dead-o'-Head;
Plug-In,
Pack It out, get It
Unpacked?
Be reasonable -
Who Don't Know What He Don't Know!?

What The @#$%^* (BLEEP)?
It's Love's Relapse,
MartinetEST-iMate,
I ain't no stencil, Baby!

I Love You More Than I know!
Out Of Integrity.

(Lrod doing his Randy Jackson impersonation)

dawg,
you have the perfect right to be as hinky as you want
but let me say that I would never take this into the studio.

It reminds me of the worst of Ezra Pound

(ok, I read it again. It grows on you. Maybe I'm just easier the second time.)

let me just say that the piece is challenging

(I still don't know what the fuck it means)
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

E.B. White meets John Bradshaw meets J. Alfred Prufrock meets the Jabberwocky meets Chomsky meets Tonto meets Flipper... for Quoits... (The "Pound" ref. - pound-for-pound, everyman's candid-ate! - is iatroanthropophagistic) - H'H./H.e.m.

if I knew what everything that I wrote meant

I would be a genius or a mock nostradamus

but this is what I'm saying:

there are some great individual lines in this piece
but it doesn't flow
it has no story or continuity

I'm all for surrealism and exploding the narrative
but surrealism doesn't work unless it looks (or sounds) real
and to explode the narrative, there has to be a narrative

that's what I'm saying
but my point is that we are all wrestling with the problem of how words fit together in the most effective way.

Sorry, my holiday just started, so I'm rambling.
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

challenging. simply challenging.
like an abstract painting (perhaps)
never seen (scene) before by 'them'
and 'them' say : "whassup wit dat?!?!"

your writing reminds (somewhat) of
a Scotsman that I read often enough
on (the OLD) Litkicks... ((back before...))
his handle: "divine mendacity"
i remembered the name! i remembered the name!

but that is neither here nor there... today

write on, if you will...

Well, "if I knew what everything that I wrote meant" , there'd be no requisite for poor syntax/incorrect grammar/mixed tense/lack of aplomb... Actually, the "mock Nostradamus" was a fave of many whom frequented Starbucks from Its inception, but sadly, alas for sum, not freequaint enuf to warrant the remaindering of some 600 establishments, so the story's banter... But hey, "what (are they) saying," Jack!?

For the Keys to the Landmarkian Kingdom reside in the prior response citing "meets 'n greets," & this ought (& has not) posed a cypher difficulty for the cognoscenti, each Word selected for Its pulchritudinous multifold/manifold (yet purposefilled) meanings; TY for the "Divine Mendacity," (W)Rite-on, I DO! I do mean, hopeful & ironic "Eckhard," Meister, though the Tolle-Be-Taken!
Is this the "Holiday" Inn?; Jeez, I coulda' sworn I'uz in Reno! Damn! H'H./H.e.m.

Would it be unreasonable of me to say I got it
or is it sufficient reason to reply
to just say I enjoyed reading your poem even through the sneeze spray on my monitor?

Judih, stilltrucking - Well, the choice is somewhat evident - "a hot collage v. tongue in cheek on ice?" TY, I do so fervently hope J.J is attendant, & not off somewhere (again) enlisting them Siren People, they're all busy, anyway, competing w/the Conflagrations of Independance. If this be confounding, consider Planet Morlde` - H'H./H.e.m.

I never stoop to optimism or any other form of mysticism for that matter, but temptation is always a rampant, ravenous, & ever present force armed with gamuts of gambits either stylish or bold by disguise. For example, innocence is still believed to exist even though it disappeared from the world long ago - I would that you would but should you not then I can't. We can leave a bit of it on each other's doorstep attributing it to being one of the many gifts of the Spirit and this is probably best. Should this exceed the verge of reason, as having no one to interpret when another is speaking in tongues, then I will see you out on highway 61.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
