Jack

No, Clay didn't do anything either.

Something like 2 years ago, we removed the music for something like 2 weeks because there was too many mp3s stored on there and our hosting storage space was getting full.

Two weeks later or so, we sorted through and i put back the necessary ones and removed the junk.

Obviously, the link to hester's music was important!

But that was a long time ago. The links have worked ever since and didn't work for only a very short time.

Nobody did anything to it today.

......

westie - yeah she's got a great voice! She really should be a star! Hell, she IS a star to me!

The ones linked here are the only songs I have... I can burn you a cd. Just send me your address.

TWO WEEks?
how about two years.

I did not say you or any body put them back to day but a year ago the links did not work

I posted this on April 18, 2007
the links were not working
What the heck happened to hester's tracks here?

Everything gone

Man I could have leaned on these right now.
and you replied on

Sorry, truckin. We were running out of space on our current host and had to remove all the mp3s since they were the biggest files. My files are all gone, too. The only songs up there now are songs LR has put back up.

We are in process of moving to a new host. These files will go back up once we have enough space.

Also, hopefully Hest will want to have her own spot on the new part of the site where she will be able to upload additional mp3s.

Sorry again... If I can fit these back before we transfer to the new host which has way more space, I will.
The songs were gone for almost two years not two weeks.

Got daM memory of mine. Nothing but a curse.

The important thing is that they are back
All I am saying is they were not there a year ago.

Lets just call this entropy

good bye
done moving on
I got a bad attitude
must be those mood swings again.

That was April 2007. Sorry. It wasn't 2 years ago. It was 1 year and 3 months ago. Forgive me for remembering the timing wrong.

You pointed out that the links didn't work back in April of 2007 when we were in process of cleaning up the stored files on the server.

Immediately when I saw your post, I put the files back up there so the links worked again.

And they have worked ever since.

Nobody did anything with the files today.

The files were NOT gone for 2 years. You are wrong. They were only gone for a few weeks.

I put them online when this original post was made in July of 2005
http://studioeight.tv/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4024

They remained online until April of 2007 when we were cleaning the storage space. All the music we were hosting was offline for only a few weeks, not a few years.

I suggest that anything you want on the internet you save it. I can't guarantee this site will even be up and running tomorrow.

If you want hester's music? Save the mp3s. Or ask me to burn you a CD and I'll send it to you. Or ask hester to burn you a cd and send it to you.

Aw, you've no idea how elated your kind comments on my warbling make me!!!!!
I hope to begin some singing again here soon....I would love to get a few more recordings made, for Stella to have after I'm dead.
Thank you though....I feel like I have a few fans!!!!!!!....what a grand feeling that is isn't it.

In one week i will start my caseworking endeavor....and I am looking forward to it...I do love the challenge that type of work is....and I think the past year has trained me hands on....you gotta have a strong stomach, strong will, and a good sense of humor where you can laugh at yourself to get by...and that comes before anything else. That's my latest philosophy.
We'll see.
I put an ad on craigslist under housing wanted.
Wrote a little paragraph about how I was an ideal renter "short on cash value but rich in every other way"...Heh.
But get this, I got a bite! Seems there is a private care home for some elderly folks, (6 of them), and they need someone to be around. They offer a two bedroom flat and a salary! I can work outside the place, (i.e. my caseworking gig) and I can bring my dear cat Mona "home" who is living with a friend right now in Astoria. I wrote in my ad that I was into jazz singing and writing on the side, and that I needed privacy for that and the gal said 'no problem" I also told her I would want my daughter to come for long visits, maybe a friend now and then, that maybe i'd want to take off sometimes to go south to visit my daughter too. She said, oh, no problem....we can work things out. I even confessed that I smoke American Spirits in the ad, and she didn't care!!!!!!
It's right in Olympia, in a very nice area, I checked it out. (The place doesn't accept medicaid folks so it must be a real homey place without a bunch of inspectors from the state cramping your style.
You know, it sounds too good to be true!!!!!!!!
But i'm going to check it out today.
What do you think? What should I look out for????? I'm sure i'm a bit blinded by this seemingly good for-turn.

And thank you all for your support on this gig, you made me feel more positive about it......so many closed doors this past year....I'm mistrustful of the ones opening now....I guess....
Big wet smoochies to you all. (And no wiping them off either!!!!!!)
Slurp..... :D

oh my god - wet slurpy smooch back at ya.
check out for vampires, hookahs, skeletons in closets - the usual
if they have a hotline to the WhiteHouse, NASA or the Casbah.

See if any of the kindly elderlies grab you as if their life depended on it - could be a bit much.

this so reminds me of a happy ending movie - best of luck to ya.

OMG!
you were worried about part-time hours and now you found a 2-bedroom apartment that will be part of another part -time job and has a salary on top of it?

Girl you got it made!

I want some of what you're having!... I could use a little good luck so if you have some extra, throw it my way, wouldja?

All the best to you, dear hest.... it's all falling together and beautifully!

and yeah... you have bigtime fans here! Thought you knew it! ;)

Checked out the place....and as Judih said, I think it would be too much...living in a dark basement flat, underneath the oldsters...one has alzheimers, the others are old and lost.....it's the kind of situation I'd have to get away from to get any relief...so not going to do it....it was tempting though.
The search for an abode without much money goes on......
Got a note from a dude about a room for rent in his place...might check that out but that's kinda scary to me....I mean, I might hurt the guy...HEH.
Gearing up for my first day on Monday.....
Part time possibilities to fill up more hours are simmering.
But no live in caregiving for me.
I know that for sure now......
Sigh

Oh well. It wasn't meant to be then.

All the best with the new job!

The place and additional hours will come to you.

(I'm a little disappointed for myself, too, since I was ready to move in.. lol ;))

okay, got it.
yeah, that does sound like a heavy load.

sunlight is essential in a living space, with access to fresh air. i'm thinking that access to drinking coffee in a slightly private space would be good.

Check out the dude. you never know!
could be a good set-up. luck to you.
