Hot Car

Post by Lightning Rod » July 10th, 2008, 10:39 am

my friend drove in from Louisiana
he came to repo his car from the thieving ex
who made off with his Honda and four grand in gold coins

his gold is likely sitting in some pawn shop
he'll never see that again
and considers it money well spent
just to get rid of the bitch
but he liked the car and wanted it back

he had the keys and the title
one o'clock in the morning
he just got in the car and drove it off

next day he calls me from Louisiana
bitch has reported the car stolen
I hadda laugh
I imagined what the call must have sounded like
"officer, somebody took the stolen car that was
sitting in my driveway?"

I can't believe no one has replied to this yet

the prophet never gets any respect in his own village

I should have included the part about the high-speed chase and the car crash. That would have been better at the box-office.

the car crash came next
i'm waiting for the sequel - why waste too many wows on a parked car taken back.
you're right, l-rod, i've been watching too many action films - my sensitivity has been wrapped in apathy.
give me a good hit of adrenalin and you might get a reaction outa me - otherwise, pass the chips and remote control. oh never mind, i'll just fall asleep and drool on the couch.
(to be read yawning & with tongue in cheek sans squished chip)

I'm smiling judih
never mind the drool coming out of my lips

let me recommend the new Will Smith movie
about the drunken super-hero

I haven't seen it yet
but the previews look great
I'm sure it would go great with chips

thnx - by the time the new will smith arrives in my locale, chips will be out of style and there'll be a new snack food craze.
perhaps micro chips.

my brother says it starts fast but ends weak

On second reading I'd drop that last line LR
although I know how much you like to spoon feed us
