The Poultry Poems---next

Post by Lightning Rod » July 11th, 2008, 7:37 pm

chickens are flightless birds
at least you want them to be
put them in a small cage and
feed them only beer massages
then you get the tenderest meat

emu can be tough and kiwi meat? well
you can only find it frozen
the last dodo vanished years ago
her feathers were too precious
and she was too slow

this rooster crows to the dawn
the hens scold me for this
but lay nevertheless
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

That was fingerlicking good

I am a poet

pluck a duck and phuck my luck
stuck behind a chicken truck
poultry in motion

kiwi is a wingless bird
an interesting Maori Myth
if you google
how the kiwi lost its wings

Dodo disappeard years ago?
now there's an understatement

now that's poetry for a ya CLay
How do I know
a little birdie told me so

Lets go shoot some passenger pigeons
Or dove hunting with Chaney
Ya know if some guys were given the choice
of fucking the most beautiful woman in the world
and not being able to brag about it later in the boys locker room
it would not be much fun
might as well be a chicken choking chicken hauler.

we all swinging meat here
we all cock of the walk
big dong wuks

He rocks in the tree-top all a day long
Hoppin' and a-boppin' and a-singin' the song
All the little birds on J-Bird St.
Love to hear the robin goin' tweet tweet tweet
[Chorus]

Rockin' robin (tweet tweet tweet)
Rockin' robin (tweet tweet tweet)
Oh rockin' robin well you really gonna rock tonight

Every little swallow, every chickadee
Every little bird in the tall oak tree
The wise old owl, the big black crow
Flapping them wings sayin' go bird go
[Chorus]

A wordy little raven at the bird's first dance
Taught him how to do the bop and it was grand
He started goin' steady and bless my soul
He out popped the buzzard and the oriole

He rocks in the tree-top all a day long
Hoppin' and a-boppin' and a-singin' the song
All the little birds on J-Bird St.
Love to hear the robin goin' tweet tweet tweet
[Chorus]

ok, I can't help myself here
I know this is getting fowl but,
I'm on a roll

I've been asked to play this so many times in bars
I always tell them
'soon as I see a hundred bucks in the tip jar, you can hear Freebird'
(the most chickenshit song I've ever had to play)

That is a lot of video to watch but I will

Sorry I had to switch sock puppets on you clay

but think that one stilltrucking was using was starting to stink of self righeousness and complaceny.

I need to do some laundry and he will be back later.

Going to listen to every one of them cause you have impeccable music taste.
I am on the other hand am tune deaf

I just can't bring myself to listen to free bird right now
I'll be back later.

remember we talked about that on the phone a couple of weeks ago
you said tone deaf
I said yeah that too
but also tune deaf

I have learned to compensate for it a little, but i still listen to music that would make you cringe because I like the lyrics.

speaking of tune deafness
interesting research going on about people with my disability, they are using to study the unconscious mind
you want me to google it for you

hells bells
I just can't help myself
