some girl?

Post by bennie2 » July 17th, 2008, 2:05 pm

it isn't dance, she slips, i saw a small dove fracture, her angel's jaw. the dewdrop sunburn dream like shine - a magnificent peninsula - licked by the womb of a depressing life, ulcerated cranium, perpetual fight. throw me a smashed flower, she screams. i throw and she collects the pieces to form a newer, more exotic flower, one whose fragrance is earth and sky, air and water, boy and girl. her small red wine lips and eastern european cheekbones. blonde hair smile. pixie frame hidden in a petticoat. is this love or a cocaine first experience....

definitely a cocaine first experience! at least my first cocaine experience was pure lust and nothing but lust.

(too bad lust later got shoved out of the way to make room for cocaine. bastard drug.)

...but didn't you know smashed angels like to dance slips slides bare foot over your heart and shoot your soul straight into their veins, because. just because, okay? she can and she will make you wonder if you saw what you think you didn't see and or maybe that was a fairy with red lips hiding in your wounds. it all depends on where you stick the needle and if you throw her a flower with a soul that smells like home...

Indeed smilegrl, I couldn't have said it half as good as you did.
I rode the cocaine train awhile, years ago....glad I got off it, nothing romantic about it for me....although, I did like this paragraph here Bennie, you have this uncanny ability (methinks) to put syrup in closed concrete.

I don't know if bennie's piece was more enjoyable or SmileG's response

both great writing--impressionistic

thank you kindly hester and lightning rod (and sorry bennie for stealing a little air time  you inspired my pen to spontaneously bleed ink )

...never did cocaine. my reply is more figuratively speaking and based on the response of the smashed flower with the fractured past licking her wounds with self taught survival tricks (like i did/would...err...maybe  )

you truly inspire, bennie of the red pants :P

this one is a merge of a photograph & my favorite angel pic (downloaded the angel pic from the internet a couple of years ago. could only find it as a free screensaver on cellphones when i searched the web for the original artist the other day...so i guess it's a freebie???), edited into my version of a smashed angel...

thought you'd enjoy...
