Norse Peak

Post by Shem » July 15th, 2008, 1:34 pm

Some photos from my recent trip up Norse peak near Mt. Rainier in Washington. Two trips actually, I went up on Sat. and it was so damn awesome I climbed up Sunday as well.

This formation is called Noble Knob

Norse peak with Mt Rainier from the top of Noble Knob, yes those are people on top!

All the dead tree's are bleached white from the sun.

The trail up to this area wanders through all many, many berry bushes so come autumn....YUM!

the pendientes in the first photo makes a funny dubious equilibrium effect when I try to focus in the pines and the bold tronco! I like it!!!!!

The tree and the pines in the background were on opposite slopes so there is a strangely skewed perspective looking across them. I almost fell over looking through the camera!

thanks for the comments!
