o-boy, truck... those amish chairs. what can i say... they may look very smart, very proper, but don't be fooled. no sirree! them's the kinda chairs that pleasure was never intended. strict adherence to the code... that's the purpose of the Amish chair.
dino - we had two of them white plastic, ubiquitous, stackable chairs... and now we have one red plastic, ubiquitous, stackable chair and one yellow plastic, ubiquitous, stackable chair... all thanks to plastic spray paint. the disguise does resemble comfort... somewhat. but the visual appeal is sooo much better. btw: cheap romano indeed does grate, not only your ass but my own ass has had the drill.

Ah! Judih... yes indeed! chair and S&M belong quite together in that red velvet boudoir... with a nicely wound leather riding crop juxtaposed next to a feather boa.

Yes, Bennie... I have only heard second hand about Scots and the chair. It is rather amazing that there is this stiff, hard, straight-backed device within the borders of your own country. How does this 'chair' get to be in so many places yet never improve upon the comfort so many long to have? There'll be one on Mars when man gets there and sets up house... wait and see.
