Hi Bryan.

"branded"? hmmm... I don't quite know what that means. But it sounds like not a very fun thing. Hey, don't worry, many people who post here have had some run-ins or other type problems at other websites. So, you're definitely not alone in that respect. You're always welcome to post here! Good to see you! :D

What happened, Bryan? Whaddayamean?

Did you get your 3 TOS violations, or is it something more personal?

Please share.

no tos violotions it is a personal crossover between myself and another well established poet at AC more specifically in the dark forums which is the only place I really post so through him I have become crucified in the eyes of any other poet who knows whats going on not a fun feeling

Getting bounced from a writing site, whether it is Big Name
(Slate ) or 'lil name--LitKicks, AC, here--is a point of honor. Walk with Pride Poet-to-be!

Fer instanz: I too was bounced--no, say itz not so!--from ClitKix, Inc. shortly after posting a highly crafted dithyramb in the Schweinburnian mode, entitled "Ode To Phirecracker: Mizzus Butt, Meet Mister Phuck..."

Dear Bryan:

Thanks for the info and I will try to see if I can discover the details by checking the forum. I can't imagine ANYONE getting hostile over POETRY!!! How dumb is that ??? I am truly sorry that you have been made to feel so bad that you don't want to return!

I've gotten into it with people a few times, myself. I think you and I had some tiff between us about prisons, not too long ago :D
When I start taking it personally, and getting upset about it, I just knock off the forum for a few days and cool down. Most of the time, it's either not meant personally, and my delusions are at work, or the person I'm talking to is just being a jerk. Either way, I REFUSE to let my feelings or somebody else's meanness prevent me from using the forum. As someone once said to me -- "That means they've won."

Whoever this character is, don't let him win by chasing you off the board. Arcanum is a pretty good place, and you have as much right to use it as anybody else.

In the meantime, it's great to have you here!

Didn't anyone tell you, Ab, that poetry--or what passes as poetry on the Net---was muerto? Maybe if you had read, say, one essay by Pound you might have realized that.

Naw, wasn't Don Rickles, more like Don Juan, and no, not the Castanets version, but the older version done by that old hepcat George Gordon--better known as Lord Byron. Ever imbibed it? Goes well with a few Pound essays.

No, but I saw the Don Juan movie with Johnny Depp.

I saw that one, with Marlon El Gordo. Johnny Depp is one of those thespian-lites, who, if you replaced his mostly empty cabeza with say the head of Richard Burton, you might have something.....

yeah, but that scene at the beginning in the restaurant when he was holding the lady's hand and talking to her about her fingers.... well... umm.... let's just say he got the don juan gig down real good in that scene... ;)

He did it alright I guess, though he's not so eloquent. He has the brooding looks that suburban mollies crave, but he doesn't seem that bright.....

His performance as Dr. Gonzo in Fear and Loathing in Vegass was not exactly worthy of HS Thompson really.....Benecio was more amusing..........however, dont talk to me about thespians--actors are the most overvalued, overpaid, narcissistic, manipulative creatures on the face of the earth....... Id rather see Spongebob Squarepants or a decent episode of the simpsons then AL Cappaccino lip synch his way through Shakeyspeare...

I totally agree about Fear & Loathing.

It was a loathsome flick. I turned it off after 45 minutes. Who wants to see people getting fucked up and falling down? I saw enough of that in real life, long ago, thank god. Boring. Tedious. Loathsome.

I love Spongebob. :D

And the Simpsons. :)
