Oh man
Nazz: I am an idiot
sitting here laughing
at what you said
but I do not think Cecil is an idiot.

But maybe he could be

Do you ever remember Clay being wrong about anything?

Cecil:
As I remember the story he did not go to jail for the drugs it was a conspiracy to lock him up for his controversial political opinions.

I got a good feeling about this constantine. I really do, something good will come out of all this somehow.

We going to break on through to the other side.

Kerouac too
A nice guy too.
He had a daughter named Iphigenia, breaks my heart. They did reconcile but even so it breaks my heart
After he finally recognized her as his daughter (people who knew them both were spooked by her eyes, how much the were like her father's)
So she comes to Florida to see him, strung out on heroin, fourteen or 15 years old, pregnant, on her way to Mexico. And he tells her to write books, use his name. Best he could do for her.

I am sorry I learned so much about Kerouac's life, I wish I had just read his beautiful novels and haiku and poetry

Paraphrase of Nietzsche from geezer memory

"Perhaps the artist in only the manure from which his art grows"

I learned a hard lesson
You don't measure a man's heart by his stature.

It is the guys your size that can put a hurting on gorillas like me.

I just posted the same video to the Video Board.

We going to move on one day and put all this bullshit behind us. Soon I hope.

A topic like this has to have its outcome...no pun intended!

And defend your right to have your fun and say your jokes, but expect

to hear the other side, the opposing voice of disapproval! Because if there is none then the silence is quiet acceptance. It's a nasty subject. But not a subject that should be run from or avoided, where statements are allowed to sit unchallenged. And really folks, no one here really really really knows one another...so ya gots to say your piece on the off chance your piece is needed to set your own record straight if no one elses!

If shit is stirred, you can be sure that someone will remark on the smell. It is as it should be.

Creative minds, what are we going to do with them, they are always busting out all over and in every wild hair direction. :P
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

Wow.
What a thread.
It reminded me of when a pedophile used to try to get into my room at night. i used to watch the doorknob turn and turn, back and forth. I was about eleven years old, and it would be about 2am. I always went to bed fully clothed.
(When I was younger, (about age 7 to 10,) the pedophile could get at me. He never fucked me that I can remember, but he used to make me touch his penis, play with it, and sometimes suck on it. Sometimes he would make me watch him dance naked and then get himself off. )
Thank Goddess for the lock and the chair pushed up against the door, and the open window. (I put those defenses together when I got older to protect myself.) It woulda been a about a 2 story drop out the window, but I didnt' care. I hated that man pawing at me.
Hated my mom too, for not being around to figure it out, for not believing me........
Sigh.

I've spent years in therapy over it....after having a mild nervous breakdown over it when I was around 17, far away from the dude who did eventually get caught and punished for his crime against me....It was harsh that no one believed me that it was happening for so many years.
Fact is, I still see a therapist from time to time about it, when the paranoia comes back and it's too much for me to get a handle on. The spaces between paranoid attacks is much wider now that i've had so much therapy, now that I see it was not about me or my worth at all, now that I understand that that man was really really sick.
And No, I don't think it's funny to joke about it Bennie, and I never will.
Fact is Bennie, and Lrod, when you guys say you think that it's funny, or wicked funny I don't believe you at all.
Fact is, I think your joke is a cry for help, and a very transparent one. If I can be of help, I offer you my hand very earnestly.
Take care,
